Series S1 – Introduction to the Internet and Cyber Security Practices

Many seniors feel left behind by technology and fear making mistakes online. Series S1 was designed to overcome that hesitation through hands-on, guided learning. We bring laptops and tablets directly to the training site so every participant can practice in real time turning theory into experience. Seniors learn how to start a computer, use a mouse, browse the Internet, and perform simple searches safely. They also discover how to protect their personal information and avoid scams. This series builds digital confidence from the ground up. By the end, each participant earns the “Beginner Navigator – Level 1” certificate — a first step toward independence online.
