Series S2 – Combatting Isolation with Digital Tools
For many seniors, digital isolation leads to emotional isolation. Series S2 helps them reconnect by learning to use digital communication tools through practical, hands-on exercises. Each participant creates and manages their own email account, practices video calls on Zoom, and explores social media like Facebook with close instructor support. With our provided computers and tablets, participants gain confidence while communicating in a safe, friendly environment. For partner organizations, this series reduces isolation, strengthens community ties, and encourages ongoing digital engagement. Graduates earn the “Digital Level 2 – Online Communication” certificate.
